Sound familiar?

Stop explaining the same things over and over.

Important details often end up scattered across WhatsApp messages, Google Docs, printed notes, photos, videos and last-minute conversations. GotIt Guides keeps everything together in one place that's easy to update and simple to share.

Real examples

It's the little things people forget to explain.

He growls when he's happy.
The back door sticks. Give it a firm push.
She'll always ask for one more bedtime story.
He'll say he's ‘fine’ even when he needs help.

The things that feel obvious to you are often the things someone else needs to know most.

Videos inside your guide

Show, don't just tell.

Sometimes a 20-second video explains more than five paragraphs.

How to give the medication
How to arm the alarm
How bedtime works
Where the spare key lives
How it works

From scattered notes to a guide they can follow.

Our story

Why we built GotIt Guides

Hi, I'm James. I live in Sydney with my girlfriend Jude, our golden retriever Percy, and my dog Whiskey.

At two years old, Whiskey was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy. We quickly learned there's no silver bullet. Managing it means multiple medications, up to three times a day. It was a life-changing moment.

It also meant that every time I went away, whoever looked after him needed to understand exactly what to do: the medications, the timing, the signs to watch for, and who to call if something went wrong.

So I'd write pages and pages of instructions. It worked, but a wall of text is the last thing anyone wants to scroll through in a stressful moment.

GotIt Guides came out of those pages: one clear, living guide a sitter can actually follow, with routines, medication, behaviour notes and emergency contacts, in a single link you share once and update anytime.

If it helps one more pet get looked after properly, it's done its job.
